Love Again and Always

Posted on by
by ellen.....

Oh, to love again.
The insanity and blindness as
the world goes away and we are enclosed.

Enclosed in the other’s arms
Face to face and back to back
The sleeping embrace, oh to be cradled again.

As we live at safe distance
I ask you,
How can love be found?

Abstinence can be cold.
Without connection,
The loss is a gaping hole.

We are meant to be lovers
Bodies must touch
for our world to survive.

Hearts must break open-
an enjambment of souls.
Oh, to love again.
